Marco Gellings appointed new Head of Winter Tire Development Worldwide
Denise Ewald takes over as Head of Summer Tire Line Development EMEA
Two new appointments have been made in Passenger and Light Tire Development at Continental in Hanover-Stöcken: Marco Gellings (45), previously Head of Summer Tire Line Development for the EMEA region, was appointed Head of Winter Tire Development Worldwide with effect from January 1, 2017. A mechanical engineering graduate, Gellings has been with Continental in Research & Development since (2001) and has already held management positions in the tire development sector.
Denise Ewald (33) succeeded Marco Gellings as Head of Summer Tire Line Development, effective February 1. An industrial engineering graduate, Ewald has held a variety of positions at Continental since joining the company in 2006. Most recently she was responsible for OE Tire Development for French automakers, prior to which she worked in product management for the APAC region and was based in Shanghai.
In their new roles, Denise Ewald and Marco Gellings report to Prof. Burkhard Wies, Head of PLT Tire Line Development Worldwide at Continental.
